"We are all connected through music."

Hi there!  My name is Meredith Hillman.  I started performing under the name DJ Foxy in 2003 when I was the host of an award-winning music show at my college radio station 100.1 WUMF in Farmington, Maine.  After graduating, I relocated to Portland, Maine, where I spent most nights out dancing at the local clubs.  I made friends with some of my favorite DJs who eventually invited me into the booth and taught me how to spin on the decks, and I was hooked!

That was in 2016.  Since then I’ve been fortunate to have had residencies at multiple venues in Portland, worked with EqualityMaine on several events to support Maine’s LGBTQ+ Community, performed DJ and MC services at weddings, managed a monthly Queer dance night for a year, and earlier this year I joined the professional team of DJs at the Music Man DJ Service.

I pride myself on being a versatile DJ who can play for a variety of audiences and settings.  I have a massive and continuously growing music collection that spans many different genres, which I love mixing in my sets.  My mission is to find those connections in music that, in turn, connect us all.
